May Day Samaritan is a non-profit foundation based in Lagos, Nigeria. The foundation was founded on the 23rd of December, 2014 by Sir Henry Boyo with the aim to provide and cater to the less privileged in the society including the disabled, infants, youths, widows, and the aged.
Since its inception, May Day Samaritan in partnership with the Lipoid Stiftung Foundation has provided education, promoted entrepreneurship, and given scholarships to the less privileged.
MISSION STATEMENT
The aims and objectives of the FOUNDATION:
- To provide and carter for the less privileged in the society including the disabled, infants, youths, widows, and aged.
- To assist the needy, physically impaired (the blind, deaf, etc), motherless babies, orphans, and widows
- To provide education and give/award scholarship to the deserving ones in the society
- To encourage and promote entrepreneurial skills in youths and women
- To promote and encourage self-reliance in the youths and provide an avenue for less dependence in paid employment in the country
- To promote integrity among the populace
- To inculcate ethics and value in the youths
- To promote and encourage community sustainability
- To provide an avenue for leadership development

Sir HENRY OLUJIMI BOYO (Late) is of the illustrious Boyo family of Warri in Delta State. A well-established Industrialist of successful companies which are engaged in both Commerce and Industry.
From the stable of his companies come well-known brand names such as Cocosheen Hair Care products, Frizz Beverages and quality industrial Flavors and Fragrances, which form vital inputs for multinationals as well as other Small and Medium players in the beverages, foods and personal care industrial subsectors.
Sir Henry Olujimi Boyo has written over 500 articles on the Nigeria Economy since 2004; these articles have been published in credible and reputable print media. He is also a regular commentator on both radio and television on matters which affect the economy and the welfare of the masses.
As a detribalized Nigerian, Sir Henry Olujimi Boyo was passionate about helping the less privileged in society. He established May Day Samaritan on the 23rd of December, 2014 with the aim to provide and cater for the less privileged in the society including the disabled, infants, youths, widows, and the aged.
